In this paper, we investigate the exponential ergodicity in a Wasserstein-type distance for damping Hamiltonian dynamics with state-dependent and non-local collisions, which indeed is special case of piecewise deterministic Markov processes that very popular numerous modelling situations including stochastic algorithms. متن کاملPhotonic coherent state transfer with Hamiltonian dynamics.
We report the observation of near-perfect light wave transfer by emulating quantum state transfer on a lattice with Hamiltonian dynamics, i.e., time-dependent intersite couplings. The structure transferring a single waveguide excitation over 11 sites with a fidelity of 0.93 works for classical light as well as single photons. As our implementation of perfect quantum state transfer uses a photon...
متن کاملLarge and moderate deviations and exponential convergence for stochastic damping Hamiltonian systems
A classical damping Hamiltonian system perturbed by a random force is considered. The locally uniform large deviation principle of Donsker and Varadhan is established for its occupation empirical measures for large time, under the condition, roughly speaking, that the force driven by the potential grows in nitely at in nity. Under the weaker condition that this force remains greater than some p...
متن کاملExponential Ergodicity and Regularity for Equations with Lévy Noise
We prove exponential convergence to the invariant measure, in the total variation norm, for solutions of SDEs driven by α-stable noises in finite and in infinite dimensions. Two approaches are used. The first one is based on Liapunov’s function approach by Harris, and the second on Doeblin’s coupling argument [9]. Irreducibility and uniform strong Feller property play an essential role in both ...
متن کاملErgodicity of Hamilton-Jacobi equations with a non coercive non convex Hamiltonian in R/Z
The paper investigates the long time average of the solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equations with a non coercive, non convex Hamiltonian in the torus R2/Z2. We give nonresonnance conditions under which the long-time average converges to a constant. In the resonnant case, we show that the limit still exists, although it is non constant in general. We compute the limit at points where it is not loc...
